Sales Manager (Collection Products)

Role
We seek a passionate sales and target oriented person to join our Sales Team.
Your role will focus on the uptake and widespread use of Brass’s Collection products such as QR Codes, Point of Sales(P.O.S) Terminals, and Cash Collections. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding large businesses onto the Brass Platform.
You will be responsible for creating and leveraging the right partnerships to ensure successful business opportunities and revenue generation. You will report to the Collections Lead to define, articulate, and implement the team’s selling strategy to ensure the inflow of revenue.
Responsibilities

Identify and acquire large businesses across industries to use Brass collections products(QR, P.O.S, CASH…).

Monitor and improve the transaction counts and volume of new and existing customers using Brass collections products.

Responsible for the entire process of acquisition to deployment with the help of the sales operations team.

Foster relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue. Influence senior stakeholders within customers’ organisations and premier buyers in the industry.

Ensure merchants’ issues are properly and quickly communicated to the sales operations team.

Identify and collate customers’ needs and proffer solutions to the product team.

Cross-sell and upsell customers on other Brass products.

Perform any Ad hoc tasks/duties as required
About You

You are passionate about innovation, and what we are doing here at Brass excites you!

You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) from a reputable institution.

You have 4- 5 years of work experience in business development, sales or account management for medium-sized to large companies. Experience in Fintech is a plus.

You have at least 3 years in payments/e-channels products sales experience.

You have a good understanding of the payments landscape in Nigeria, especially the P.O.S. business.

You must have existing strong business relationships to quickly acquire within the first 1month of joining Brass.

Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment

You can work effectively with minimal supervision and can take absolute ownership of your role and targets.
