Today, we are introducing the Brass Cash Deposits feature, which allows our customers to effortlessly deposit their cash directly into their bank accounts. With this new feature, businesses will no longer be limited to receiving payments solely through transfers or point-of-sale (POS) transactions. Instead, they can conveniently deposit their cash earnings in any of the three banks (GT bank, Zenith Bank and First Bank) we have partnered with, providing them with greater flexibility and control over their finances.
We understand that many businesses still receive a significant portion of their revenue in cash, and our goal is to empower you to manage your finances seamlessly, regardless of the payment form.

Expanded Payment Options: By introducing cash deposits, we have broadened your avenues for receiving payments. You can now accept cash from customers and effortlessly deposit it into your preferred bank account, eliminating any limitations you might have faced previously.
Simplified Process: Generating a cash deposit account number from your Brass dashboard takes just a few clicks. We’ve designed this feature to be user-friendly and intuitive.

Convenience: With our partnership with three prominent banks, you have the freedom to choose the banking institution that is closest to you. Enjoy the flexibility of directing your cash to the bank that best suits your business needs.
How do I use this feature?
To take advantage of Brass Cash deposits, all you need is your unique cash deposit account number, which can be generated directly from your dashboard. It’s quick, easy and secure.
To deposit cash, walk into any GT, Zenith or First Bank branch closest to you and follow the steps required for each bank.

Is my cash deposit account number the same as my regular Brass account number?
No, it is not. You would need to generate a cash deposit account number.
Is this feature available to everyone?
For customers that joined Brass before June 20, 2023, they have to opt in for this service. But new customers will automatically see the feature on their dashboard.
Can my customers transfer into my cash deposit account?
We advise you use the cash deposit account for only cash deposits. While you use your regular Brass accounts for transfers.
How can I see the funds paid into my account?
Funds are available to view on your dashboard. Or by making your way to the accounts section, clicking on the accounts dropdown and selecting the specific account you wish to see.
